On a storm-wracked island of stone beings, young Koru is an outcast bound to a prophecy he doesn’t understand. When a strange round creature named Orb washes ashore, everything fractures. The adults see death in the prophecy; Koru sees something worth saving. Cast out together, they journey beyond the island into a world where even the storm fears to reach and where Orb may be more than the omen they believe.
